Unload WB. Using SDC, un-install WB (a Themes and Settings prompt comes up...keep 'Themes and Settings') and reboot on prompt. Open and delete the contents in C:\Documents and Settings\User\Local Settings\Temp\sdcentral. Disable Anti-Virus proggie and install 4.5 using SDC.Thankyou Developer Yraq and digitalTrucker

I would take exception to the solution. I am also having trouble with 4.5. In my case it says invalid URL wb4/production. Downloads all the support files and fails at the end when downloading the app. I have been able to duplicate this (without trying) on a laptop and a PC. It also updated SDC right before, I can't say which one is having a problem, but uninstall and reinstall is really not a very good answer when clearly something on SDC's end has gone wrong.

I'm getting the invalid URL also.
Funny though Windowblinds says 4.5 when you go to the about Windowblinds.
You are right Dan B. Sounds like SDC's problem.

Here I thought I was going to be the only one with this problem! I'm getting the same error as #3 ,Dan B In PA. When checking the link by Developer vrag you find that the file you need to delete the contents of is Hidden! Whoa, got to be a better fix then this, or maybe not? I know this is early in the download of the update, and there are bound to be problems. You know what they say, if somenting can go wrong, it will! I think I'll wait awhile to see how this clears up.

I did the uninstall via SDC, re-boot, install 4.5 via SDC...and all is well. I don't see a reason to do all the "stuff".

Note, don't check the box for removing themes.

Wicked.

I also get the "invalid URL wb4/production" on both my PC and laptop. Has to do with SDC!

Same problem here.

WB 4.50.043 (just released) resolves the "invalid url" issue.

The way I see it, if we are going to identify a problem and CRY, then we should also CHEER when the fix arrives! I knew it wouldn't take you folks long to find and fix the problem. That's why you are the Developers and Programers and people like myself on this side of the screen are Computer USERS. Take the rest of the day off, you deserve it.

I also had the "Invalid URL" problem this morning. When I came back a few hours later it was fixed and I was able to download the update with no problems
