If you ever said we are being ripped by high fuel cost you are right!

If you ever said Bush will not do anything about it you are right!

Does our congressmen know about this? Yep

Does our senators know about this ? Yep in fact they did a investigation!

Why won't they do anything about it ? I Think 50 to 60 million dollars contributed each yr. may have something to do with it!

Can we ever have gas back to $1.30 a gal ? Yes provided we get our congress and senators to get some gutts and hit the problem head ON!

Does our Oil Co. have some connection with OPEC? Yep DIV>

Wmsc, I have not yet read the article, but I have written and made a connection between the dubya dummies, oil and taxes. What I see is that the oil companies are going to make huge profits no matter what. That, in and of itself, is indication that the government is in bed with them, and that they really could care less about people. Secondly, given all the tax cuts that the dubya dummies have made and are now trying to make permanent, oil costs are a great source of revenue to the government because the taxes one pays on oil is a percentage of the cost. The more it costs, the bigger the tax flow to government. It's a tax increase out the back pockets of American citizens.
